My best friend played it on trial version apparently and said it wasn’t anything like the advertisments made it seem.
The advertisements are basically for lonely nerds who can’t get any girls. hence why all the ads have a pornographic subtext. "Ie: EVONY: It’ll make you SWEAT (Cue scantily clad girl with sweat on her forehead.)
Anyway,Evony is a strategy based fantasy/war game,it runs based on text. It’s multiplayer and it’s really not great at all. I played it and it put a virus on my computer. Stay away from it.

an online war game, you can build your army and go out to war. not the best game, kinda confusing but its pretty good. its free also
