I honestly think it’s stupid. I don’t think the game has anything related to the almost naked women.

well i guess it’s to attract the viewer’s attention. if you search up the history/controversy of evony’s advertising campaign, it’s been criticised a lot of times.
of course, i don’t think evony actually has anything to do with the racy images. xD

This question has come up in a log of blogs and such as well as by most younger male players. The reason is pretty simple, sex sells. An add flashing just the game, buildings/troops and such isn’t going to catch even a fraction of the eyes that a nearly nude woman will. There was one ad that even had the phrase "save the princess" even though there is no princess.
I guess the bigger question is probably why they don’t even acknowledge that once you login.
